I'm Vicki Hexter, and I've been passionate about skincare for over 30 years. As the owner of Eco Skin Clinic and a specialist in advanced skincare treatments for all skin types and ethnicities, I've dedicated my career to helping people achieve their healthiest skin possible.
My journey began with a BTEC HND in Beauty Therapy, one of the first of its kind, equivalent to a degree level qualification with comprehensive training in biology and cosmetic science. Over the decades, I've worked with countless skincare ranges, taught advanced treatments to fellow therapists in everything from lesion removal to microneedling, and built Eco Skin Clinic into an ethical, environmentally conscious practice.
But it was my personal health journey that sparked the creation of Leaf & Lab. After my breast cancer treatment, I became acutely aware of what I was putting on my skin and into my body. Having worked with so many different product ranges over the years, I knew exactly what was missing
from the market: truly clean formulations that didn't compromise on results.
I was determined to find skincare that delivered the kind of transformative results I knew were possible, but without the inflammatory ingredients that could burden my healing body. When I couldn't find products that met both criteria, I decided to create them myself.
